Nebraska the pony express, open highways, quilt shops in Wyoming.

We decided to check out Gothenburg Nebraska and one of the pony express stations, unfortunately we couldn't get to it due to road construction so here are a few images in the town.

Love the motion effect with the colour transition.

Open roads.

Big skies.

A very old grain elevator.

Hell's half acre...

Hard to photograph between the chain links.

Quite a drop for the animals to fall off.

Love the colour in the rocks.

A Place In Town Shoshoni Wyoming, out in the middle of almost nowhere.

Interesting give away in the day.

Love the colours and graphics.

Interesting pattern.

Boarded up window.

Old white building being painted.

I love old neon signs.

Thermopolous here we come.

The sign reads world's largest hot springs.

An overall view.

A closer view.

Another view.

Look a deer! I went to take a second picture and she jumped the fence with ease.

Some more grazing on pastureland.

Bighorn Quilts in Greybull.

Their logo, sadly they are closing their business after almost twenty years.

They did a huge online business.

Husband sews his own shirts!

As a part of the shop hop a free pattern.

Next stop Cody and found the shop Friends and Co.

Their sign on the building.

They were featured a few years ago in Quilt Sampler and this was their pattern in the magazine.

This is a big shop with lots of things.

They have a huge western room.

Lovely samples.

All in solids, just gorgeous.

They also sell kits.

Like these as a pair.

Interesting clouds outside the shop.

We drove to the gates of Yellowstone in hopes of seeing some wildlife with no luck.

Interesting rock formations.

Amazing.
