It has been very foggy for the past few days, we are having a temperature inversion...that means it it colder low down in the city trapping the fog and warmer at higher elevations with sunny skies. A friend of mine took these pictures from a tower in Metrotown in Burnaby and shared them with me. This view is looking north towards the north shore mountains.
Looking even more west of the city.
Looking north, but more to the east.
Even a bit more east.
Perhaps a bit more east and south this time.
I'm guessing this is looking south towards the Fraser River.
Looking south and towards the west again.
Down by the Fraser River where I live it has been very dark and grey all day with the fog horns from various boats sounding off periodically during the day.

The snow keeps coming down...we drove over to the west side of Vancouver today and this was one of the main residential streets along the way.The trees are huge along west 10th driving towards the University of British Columbia.
We took a side street to head back home, this was one of the residential streets running parallel to our route some of the cars were not going anywhere soon.
The next block over was even worse, at least you can drive safely along my own street in New Westminster.
This is part of a park along west 16th. It would have been fun to go for a walk and get some more pictures but parking was not easy to obtain.
We managed to drive back and forth without any problems, the snow is still coming down. It is supposed to be raining again and we will be back to our usual rainy winter weather.
