Nifty Thrifty Dry Goods booth at SewExpo in Puyallup...this place is great! I first saw this vendor when I went to Houston several years ago. She has a wonderful selection of buttons, trims, ribbons, beads and many more things. Check out her website at http://www.niftythriftydrygoods.com/ She sets all her various items together in colour groupings.Finding a nice bright yellow is sometimes difficult, but not here.
Back at home again, this field of crocuses is actually someone's front yard! They have naturalized over the years and make a very pretty show. I took these pictures on March 7th.
This white pair with purple streaks of purple are almost translucent.
Here is another view of the lawn covered by the crocuses.
The next day it started snowing in the afternoon. We don't usually get much snow in March but it continued to fall for several hours.
The next morning it started falling first thing in the morning, by afternoon the sun was out and the snow was gone from most sidewalks and roads. These snowdrops looked lovely surrounded by snow.
Down on the quay more crocuses were poking out their heads.
This lone daffodil was proudly showing its pretty head.
I found some mini-irises blooming.
The snow was quickly melting in the late afternoon sun.
Even some of the rhododendron's were starting to put forward their flowers.
This trio of crocuses caught my eye coming out of a bit of snow.
This pink flowering winter viburnum is almost in full blossom now.

Lovely to see Spring is starting where you are Sandi and hopefully your cold weather is starting to wane a bit. Love your photos of all the flowers. All those ribbons etc. It is quite a bit of eye candy. Lovely colours too. Regards, Nessie
