This morning I met my friend Rita for breakfast and enjoyed a lovely walk along the river. The Witch hazel has burst forth and is making things look like Spring.
The orange one has much denser and curlier blossoms. In Rita's garden a snowdrop was making an early arrival.
These sparrows were taking advantage of the puddle left from Monday and Tuesday's rains. The guy/gal on the right seems to be upset to be caught with a wet head.
This little yellow crocus just can't wait to start blooming!
I love this time of year as the plants start to wake up again and share their colours with us.
