I woke up to a snowy morning and headed off to work. At lunch I went for a walk in the neighbourhood where I work. I love how the dark trunk contrasts with the snow and grey skies behind. These trees will be full of blossoms in a few more weeks. They are beautiful in the late winter early spring.
This is the side street where I often park. The road was packed snow almost ice. Tomorrow should be interesting.

This is a huge tree just of the path where we walk into the hospital site where I work.

At the end of the day the blue skies appeared and the snow was rapidly melting.

I got home just as the sun was setting and I quickly walked down to look at the witch hazel.

Here is the yellow version just a short distance away.

I spotted this couple walking hand in hand in the setting sun, reminds you that Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

What a lovely end to a snowy day.
