Heading to Sister's 39th Outdoor Quilt Show.

Beautiful day to drive south along I-5 to Portland. One of my favourite shops Pioneer Quilts announced a short while ago that they would be closing in August and I was heartbroken. Then just before leaving today I heard one of the co-owners has had such support that she will continue while her partner will retire.

When I pulled up I saw a long line up outside of the shop and I thought I was in for a wait. Good news, the line was waiting to get onto the bus not into the shop!

Beautiful wool quilts.

Lovely embroidery and patchwork.

Their row for the row by row experience happening around the U.S. And Ontario.

Still lots of stock and even better a minimum 20% off and 30% off selected bolts.

More great wool projects.

Halloween Baltimore Album quilt.

Wool...

....more wool...

...the rest of a pattern framed.

One of my treasures from the shop Sue Spargo's new Creative Texturing book.

A quilt I've admired since September 2012, I bought the pattern checkout my photo of the quilt on display.

Farther along 1-5 is Greenbaum's Greenbaum's Quilted Forest.

Come one in...checkout their row by row experience row.

It used to be an old drug store.

Love the turquoise walls.

Beautiful star quilt.

A is of modern quilts.

Hanging from the loft upstairs.

Overhead, everywhere you look.

Looks like lot of fun while you're on the road. We were in Bend the other weekend, not too far from Sisters. It was before the Row by Row Experience started.
