Gorgeous West Coast Autumn Day

Yesterday was a gorgeous west coast day after some typically rainy November days.  This maple leaf tree just outside my door is looking wonderful.

Here the sunshine is showing off the colour at the top of the tree.
I love the lemony yellow swooping branches on this tree beside it.
A peek at the colour of the cherry trees in the courtyard and the skeleton trees along the quay walkway beyond.
I love listening to the waterfall on your pond.  Leaves dropping along the pathways.
This shadow is cast by the reflection of the sun on the condo on the other side of the cul de sac.
Another view of the shadow on our building.
Today I went to the post office to pick up a parcel...it's here Sue Spargo's Stitches to Savor!
This book has some amazing close up photographs of Sue's lovely quilts and stitching.  It was published by Martingale.  Can you guess what I'll be doing tonight?

What gorgeous pictures. You have a wonderful view! Do you live up on the top floor? It's where I'd want to be. =) I know you enjoyed that book and are already experimenting a little.
