Summertime along the Fraser River

Tuesday afternoon I spotted this guy fishing in the river.

Isn't the colour of this Cosmo bloom rich?

A carrot seed head found in my friend Rita's garden, it almost looks like Queen Anne Lace.

Beautiful peach rose.

Multi-petal dalia.

This one looks like a fiery sunset.

The hydrofoil search and rescue coming up the river.

A lovely walk along the river.

Check out the bee in the blossom on the left.

Moving onto another one.

A better look at a very busy bee.

Peach zinnia.

Fuchsia pink.

Papyrus against the sky.

Interesting colours on a daisy.

More bees.

Tiny yellow daisy.

Bush roses against some decorative grass.

Below the blue cranes you can see the hydrofoil heading back downriver.

Life along the river, so peaceful, but a working river.

Look what arrived in the mail today, my next four blocks of the week from Primitive Gatherings.

Along with their freebies, time to start tracing out the patterns and start stitching. It will be four weeks before the next group comes and I want to keep on top of them this year.

Lovely flowers once again. Those seats look rather inviting looking at the river. Bom's are nice too! Enjoy your lovely weather. Where I am it is cool and we have had rather a dry July so far. Regards, Nessie
