Driving along I-90 we stopped at a lovely vista point looking over the Columbia River.

Turning around and looking up at the Wild Horses Monument what a spectacular design.

Thanks for my trusty telephoto lens I didn't have make the mile hike up and back for a closer look.

Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies by David Govedare has 15 sculptures of wild horses.

They span almost 200 feet and are life sized.

If you are ever in the area heading east stop by and enjoy the view, or hike up for a closer look. You cannot access the vista point heading west without a ten mile detour across the bridge and back.
